Who Are We?   

Family Outreach Ontario Christian Addiction Support Services (FOOCASS) is a faith-based inter-denominational charitable organization. We are volunteers who are sensitive to the dynamics of alcohol and substance abuse. Many of our volunteers have had first-hand experience with substance abuse and are able to use these unique experiences to allow us to come along side of individuals, families, churches etc. Compassion and love for the individual struggling with the affliction of substance abuse and those affected around him/her are our primary goal. Our approach in each situation is a non-judgmental way of making it a safe environment for those seeking help. The steps and principles set out in Alcoholics Anonymous is the blueprint we adhere to. We are NOT counselors. We provide assistance to addicts and/or the family affected by this disease. In doing so; we direct spouses, siblings, children and parents to professional help, counseling and referals. Volunteers are ready to assist anyone who needs information or just someone to talk to.
