Membership
We are an inter-denominational group of Christian believers. We use a Christ-centered approach to bring healing to those afflicted by drugs and alcohol. At Family Outreach Ontario, we serve a loving God and our leaders are but trusted servants. We have no opinion on outside issues including religious background; our primary purpose is to serve those who reach out for help.
Our funding is primarily received through supporting churches and individuals. See Donation Form.
Our members consist of those who profess Jesus as Lord and adhere to Christian principles as found in the Holy Bible. Our members understand and would “love to wipe out” the devastating affects of drug and alcohol abuse. Some of us have had hands on experience in various forms of the disease but it is definitely not a requirement. The membership gives the opportunity to voice concerns and vote on issues at hand. This keeps a “democratic” vision of Family Outreach Ontario alive and healthy. For membership opportunities click on the Membership Form.
At least twice a year our members and supporters meet in an open format meeting. The meeting is designed to inform the members and supporters of the progress and update the past 6-12 months. The meeting is important to inform members how Family Outreach Ontario is operating fiscally, meeting the needs of the Christian community and achieving its vision.
